New Belgium - More than just beer. But how can this company effect those who are under the age of 21? New Belgium, just like the rest of Fort Collins, is incredibly family oriented. The tours of their brewery are open to all ages and families are encouraged. The brewery's annual event Tour De Fat, which is a costume bike race and carnival, is also an all ages event and supports the community spirit.
Right now New Belgium is even taking submission for its Clips Beer and Film tour. Collecting film submissions and helping to raise money for non-profit organizations. Even though we may only think about New Belgium when we join our friends at the Ramskellar, the company does more than just provide the people of Fort Collins with refreshing beer. The brewery helps foster the sense of eco-friendly and family oriented community that Fort Collins is so passionate about. And it does it through bikes and beer. What could be better than that? |

Elizabeth Hornung, 21, experiments with New Belgium’s seasonal beer Snow Day, as she discusses the convenience of having an on campus bar at the Ramskeller, Monday.
